University of London Venues encompasses a number of outstanding event spaces in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. Senate House, our flagship venue was built in 1936 and is an elegant space for conferences and events. We also offer outdoor gardens for hire, easily accessed by public transport in Zone 1.

Experience Senate House with our virtual tours. You can explore our flagship venue room by room with a historic virtual tour, showcasing our unique spaces such as this one - Chancellors Hall. Built in 1936, our Senate House venue was once used as the main press office for the Ministry of Information (1937) but is now host to vibrant events and conferences.

Senate House

The timeless elegance of Senate House is complemented by exceptional event facilities. This historic venue retains its elegant 1920s architectural style whilst providing an unrivalled collection of modern, practical and well-equipped event spaces. Senate House is ideal for a range of occasions including conferences, exhibitions, banquets, awards ceremonies and meetings.

Garden Halls

The eight meeting rooms at Garden Halls are bright, contemporary and naturally-lit spaces situated in central London. Located just 10 minutes’ walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras International stations, they’re suitable for small to medium-sized meetings, accommodating from four to 40 people. They all have wheelchair access.
