The sixteenth edition of the QS World University Rankings has been published, ranking 1,000 of the world’s most prestigious universities from a total of 80-plus different countries.
Three of the University of London’s member institutions rank in the top 50 universities worldwide.
UCL ranked in 8th place worldwide – up two places this year – and 3rd in the UK overall. UCL provides academic direction for our MSc in Professional Accountancy, MA in Applied Educational Leadership, plus the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education: Teacher Development. UCL also provides joint academic direction for both the Postgraduate Laws Programme and Undergraduate Laws Programme.
King’s College London ranked joint 33rd globally and 7th in the UK. King’s similarly provides joint academic direction of the Undergraduate Laws Programme.
LSE ranked 44th globally (8th in the UK), plus an impressive 10th place worldwide for employer reputation. LSE provides academic direction for a suite of undergraduate programmes in Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences.
Published annually, the QS World University Rankings rate universities according to six metrics including academic reputation, employer reputation, and academic citations per faculty.
